Major Updates
We’ve been making the most of this beautiful weather—building trails, strengthening partnerships, and keeping up with essential maintenance.
McMurry Mountain Park Trail Expansion
Progress on the McMurry Mountain Park trail addition is going exceptionally well. Thanks to our new mini excavator, we’ve added a quarter mile of trail in just the past week. The terrain is tough—dense timber and rocky ground—but we’re getting close, with only 0.75 miles remaining before the full loop is complete (aside from one bridge).
The first bridge, built by William B. as part of his Eagle Scout project, has set a strong precedent. Our second bridge has garnered significant attention, and we’re excited to share that we’ve already raised over half of the $5,000 needed—thanks to generous donations and matching contributions. More details about how to donate and available matches will be announced soon.

Youth Mountain Bike Camp with The Science Zone
We were thrilled to recently partner with The Science Zone to support their youth mountain biking camp—a three-day adventure designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.
Day 1 kicked off on Casper Mountain, where participants worked on core bike-handling skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Day 2 took the group to Johnny Behind the Rocks near Lander, featuring breathtaking views, a stop at a refreshing waterfall, and a well-earned ice cream treat—despite a surprise rainstorm that added some extra adventure.
Day 3 was one for the books. We started early, shuttling 13 bikes to the top of the iconic Brewers Trail. Riders spent the day navigating rugged alpine terrain, putting their new skills to the test. We wrapped up with a return to Casper for some much-needed rest and reflection.
A special thank-you to Steven and the entire Science Zone team for partnering with us to promote the educational and health benefits of mountain biking for the next generation of riders.
