Project Updates

Douglas Mountain – Phase I

We’re thrilled to announce that trail work and the bike skills park are officially complete! Thanks to generous donations from Bloedorn’s and Converse County Bank, we’ve added stunning wooden bike features, a bridge, and a boardwalk to elevate the rider experience.

We’re now working with the Outdoor Enthusiasts of Converse County and Pointe Strategies on Phase II, which will complete the bike park. Stay tuned—this project is just getting started!

McMurry Mountain Park (Kay Linn Master Plan Project)

Big strides have been made on the mountain! We’ve conquered the toughest terrain yet, connecting the new outer loop to Eadsville and the base of The Dungeon, thanks to our trusty mini excavator.

New Trail Alert: The Link’n Log Trail is now 100% complete! This exciting new connector links Eadsville to the Biathlon parking lot and features a 45-foot-long log ride—a playful and technical addition to the park that riders won’t want to miss.

We will be starting construction of the second bridge soon. This project is 100% funded and will be the last piece to fully connect the new trail!! Lots of trail finishing in the coming weeks. With help from the community we can get over ¼ mile finished per day. We thank our hardworking volunteers that have reached out to assist this year! Let’s keep the momentum going!!

Casper Mountain Trails

New trails are coming soon near the trail center to reconnect Miner Loop and help users navigate updated parking and drainage areas. This is a great opportunity for volunteer trail work!

We’ve also been approved for another Eagle Scout project, which will include:

• A new bridge connecting Lower Pinball and Off-CAMBYR to Miner Trail

• A ¼-mile section of new trail This connector will offer users an alternative to Strube Loop and direct access to the new trail center.

Trail Conditions & Community Notes

Trail Updates – Central Wyoming

  • Expect hot and dry conditions as we move into late summer. With archery season underway, please be mindful of all trail users and recreationists.

  • Eadsville received hazard tree removals this week, and we’ll continue Maintenance Mondays throughout the season. If you spot a trail hazard or area in need of attention, let us know—we rely on our amazing community to help us stay informed.

Mike Cedar BMX – Riders Needed!

Know someone who loves bikes, jumps, and rollers? Mike Cedar BMX is calling!

They offer categories for all types of bikes—including mountain bikes and dirt jumpers.

New Shirts!

We just launched our brand new tee shirt design! You can buy one here!

Thank You for Your Support!

We’re excited for the rest of the trail-building season and the fall projects ahead. None of this would be possible without your support.

To everyone who has volunteered, donated, or helped spread the word—thank you for being part of our mission to connect communities through trails.
